Prepare the questions a licensed electrical professional must resolve before any installation.
The 5 topics below use ten different property contexts. Select the setting whose operating boundary matches your situation, rather than assuming a whole-property rating from a small appliance example.
H2OME is in early development. Its 10 kW output figure is a design target, not a proven specification. There is no confirmed price, certification, commercial availability or guaranteed runtime in this guide.
In Australia, check connection questions with your electricity retailer and distributor. Use electrical professionals holding the licence required in your state or territory, and ask the local council about relevant siting, building and water-use requirements. Energy Made Easy covers New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and the Australian Capital Territory; outside those jurisdictions, check the relevant state or territory consumer energy comparison resource. Compare your actual tariff and charging window, not an assumed national rate. This guide does not claim to know a particular state's approval process.
A load priority list becomes an electrical design question when fixed wiring is involved. Ask a licensed professional to identify which circuits contain the intended appliances and what else shares them. One circuit label may conceal several rooms, a pump or another building.
A backup supply must interact safely with the network and the property wiring. Transfer, isolation and islanded operation are design matters for the relevant professionals and distributor. Ask how the equipment prevents unintended energisation and how each operating state is verified.
The phase arrangement influences which loads can be supported and how demand is distributed. A property may have three-phase machinery alongside single-phase household appliances. Supply type must be established from authorised service information and professional inspection, not guessed from appliance size.
Protection and earthing must remain appropriate in every proposed supply state. The designer needs to assess the existing installation, protective devices and fault behaviour with the intended equipment. A successful appliance test does not demonstrate adequate fault protection.
Some electronics and controlled motors are sensitive to voltage variation, waveform quality or brief interruptions. Give the professional designer appliance model details and manufacturer requirements. A steady resistive test load alone does not demonstrate compatibility with every real appliance.
Ask us about H2OME, tell us about your property or register your interest in the proposed system. We are in early development. No payment or purchase commitment; contacting us does not guarantee a pilot installation.
